There are a lot of definitions for web site. It is hard to take in the whole essence of this concept. In short, web site is the main, structural unit on the Internet space. And vice versa: The Internet is a combination of web sites. The site itself consists of graphic (photos, drawings), animated (gif, others), text, table and other applications, integrated by a matchless manner. The web site consists of a visible (public) and hidden (administrative) part. Both parts are integrated and indivisible. In its turn the administrative part could be also divided into two parts: visible (public) and programme (source code). The web site could be likened to an iceberg. What is above water (at the iceberg) conforms to what can be seen by the users. What is under water (the bigger part of the iceberg) corresponds to hidden part of the web site. Graphically, you can check what stands behind the web site by clicking with right button of your mouse and choose from the drop down menu “View source”. It is very important you to realize that the site has a dendriform structure. The arrangement should be logical and subordinated to the basic Internet rule “The Content Is the King”. The whole web site’s make should be conformed to this requirement; otherwise the entire project would lose its significance and would turn into another aimless high technological product.
